# Add a coworking space

> Submit a space, avoid duplicate listings and understand the difference between listing approval and management access.

Adding a space is free. Search the [directory](https://docs.coworkies.com/spaces/directory/) first so you do not create a duplicate.

## If you added it during sign-up

When you enter a new space during account setup, it can be pending validation. Do not submit the same space again through the separate form. If you cannot find it or need management access, contact the Coworkies team with its name and city.

## Use the space submission form

1. Sign in and open [Add a coworking space](https://www.coworkies.com/add-coworking-space).
2. Choose **City Name**. Search an existing city or type a new one if it is missing.
3. Enter **Space Name** and the full **Space Address**.
4. Choose how you know the space: **I work for the space**, **I am a member**, or **I like it and think it should be on Coworkies**.
5. If you work for it, enter its official email address when requested.
6. If a brand option appears, check whether the listing belongs to that brand.
7. Select **Submit** and read the result before trying again.

## What happens next

Public visibility depends on confirmation of the listing. Management access is checked separately: an existing listing may need an ownership check before you can edit it. Submitting an official email alone does not guarantee management rights. Review time varies; contact support if you need an update.

If access is granted, open the space from **Manage Spaces**. Complete [Details and About](https://docs.coworkies.com/spaces/profile/) and check the public page after saving.

## If something goes wrong

- **Space already exists:** request access to that listing instead of submitting another one.
- **Form is missing:** sign in first.
- **Space is pending:** wait for confirmation or [contact support](https://docs.coworkies.com/spaces/help/) with its name, city and your account email.
- **No edit access after submission:** ask support to verify your connection to the space.
